Ordering And Shipping

Goods will be delivered during weekdays between 8 am and 5 pm using a courier service and details of your order will be emailed and/or sms'd to you prior to delivery for tracking purposes.

Bulk Purchases

Orders purchased in bulk, where the quantities are in excess of 30 units of an individual item or weight exceeds 40kg, may incur an additional delivery charge. Please call/email before hand to discuss the delivery fee.

If the order has been placed online and has been paid for already, and there are in excess of 30 units of an individual item or weight exceeds 40kg, you may receive communication from Chohans Spice (Pty) Ltd notifying you of the additional courier charges to be paid

Delivery Rates and Options 

***Note all delivery rates are calculated automatically at checkout and the applicable rates will apply to your order.

 - Local Collection (Free)- Orders may be placed online and collected instore from Chohans Spice Sea Cow Lake, 57 Joyce Road Sea Cow Lake. 

 - Local Delivery (R50) - This is applicable to orders with a delivery location within a 5km radius of Chohans Spice Sea Cow Lake. This option will be automatically applied upon checkout based on the delivery address entered in the shipping screen. Select "Local Delivery" as per the image below if the option is prompted. Please note this is not a same day delivery service.

Nationwide Delivery (0-5kg @ R79) - Nationwide delivery to all parts of South Africa utilising the services of a courier company.

Nationwide Delivery (5-25kg @ R139) - Nationwide delivery to all parts of South Africa utilising the services of a courier company.

Nationwide Delivery (25-50kg @ R300) - Nationwide delivery to all parts of South Africa utilising the services of a courier company.

Nationwide Delivery (+50kg @ R500) - Nationwide delivery to all parts of South Africa utilising the services of a courier company.

Orders should be received within 7 working days.

Should you not be available when the courier company visits your premises , you may need to collect the goods from the courier company depot. 

If there are are damages for the the products received , please contact us within 1 day on online@chohans.co.za or 0860 786 786 and we will process your request in terms of  our returns policy.
