Marjoram (scientifically known as Origanum majorana or sweet marjoram) is a highly versatile, aromatic member of the mint family widely used for culinary recipes, traditional medicine, and aromatherapy. While it is closely related to oregano, marjoram features a much milder, sweeter flavour profile characterized by delicate notes of pine and citrus.

Cooking Tip: Add dried marjoram early in the cooking process so it has time to hydrate. Toss fresh marjoram in at the very end of cooking to preserve its delicate profile.
